Sleeping Beauty

Our sleeping beauty held closely in her Baba's arms... I will be sad when she is ready to leave our family bed!
As for me, yesterday was a rough one. On Tuesday, I felt so much better, then Tuesday night came. I felt horrible, and I started running a high fever. By Wednesday morning, I had a fever of 101.6. It has been forever since I have had a fever like that. My doc gave me 2 antibiotics to take for an infection that was setting up somewhere inside my body. They are those yucky, chalky, bulky pills that leave that horrible taste on your tongue when you try to swallow them. But, with God's help, I have gotten them down twice, and my fever has broken. Hopefully, this will do the trick, and I can get back on the recovery road.

Sorry to hear about your infection...I hope you are feeling better now. I totally understand about the pills...I can't swallow any pill bigger than a pea - LOL!!

Take care!!

I am sorry you are not feeling well again...I hope what the Dr. ordered works and it has you feeling better soon.

as for Lily and the family bed.. I know just how you feel. Sophia Hated her crib from day one and has been in our bed now for 6 months. We have come to love it and feeling her there with us is not only a comfort to her but to us. Last week she started wanting to get in the crib and since then has been sleeping there every night. Although I am happy we reached a milestone and that she feels comfortable and safe to sleep in there it makes us a little sad hat she is no longer in our bed...well she is napping there now so maybe it is not gone forever.. Hang in there

I found your blog on the RQ site. I noticed your gotcha day was 03/17/08 and that was our gotcha date. We got our daughter in Nanning. Where did you receive your daughter?

Love the pictures. The title of this post is perfect.

So sorry to hear that you are feeling poorly. I am sure that the antibiotics are the trick and you will be better real soon. Can you cut the pill in half possibly?

Prayers are coming your way.
