Lily's Allergies?

We took Lily to our allergy doctor today, and we were so worried about the allergy tests that she would have. But, Lily was so good. She sat there in my lap and faced me while they poked away on her back over and over and over again. We looked at an Elmo book and Polar Bear, Polar Bear during the visit, and she was just so wonderful. The nurses and doctors kept telling her how good she was to sit so still during everything. So, the great news is that she wasn't allergic to anything! Our doctor said that she might have a chronic sinus infection that needs to be treated with a much stronger antibiotic. However, for a week, he just gave her some samples from his office to try and dry up her sinuses. Then, if that does not help her cough, we have a prescription for a strong antibiotic that Lily will have to take for 21 days. Regardless, we are just so happy that she isn't allergic to the cats. She actually had no reaction to anything. Of course, she could develop allergies to things as she gets older. But, right now, we are going to worry about that. We are going to pray that we can get her well!
We are super busy this week, but I will try to get more pictures posted by Friday afternoon after school.

Glad to hear that she is not allergic to the cats. Glad to hear that she was a trooper throughout the whole process. I will be praying that the samples/antibiotics will work wonders and her cough will be cured.

oh so awesome! I'm so glad to hear that! Our little chick is allergic to peanuts (bummer!) and sensitive to soy (impossible to get rid of!) and our man is really allergic to tons of stuff (but no foods...go figure) So glad that you don't have to enter that world and sending a prayer that she gets well soon w/o having the use the antibiotic!
