Lily & the Chicken Pox
Yes... Lily has them! They started coming out to join us last night. I am just praying for a really mild case. She is okay right now other than constant itching- which we have to work on. Looks like we might have some bonding time together this week. At least there's something to be excited about when it comes to being sick. :0)

So sorry to hear that she has the chicken pox. I too am praying for a mild case for her as well. Try to enjoy the bonding time you will have even though she is itching.

Awww... poor baby!!! Chase had an AWFUL case! they were EVERYWHERE- even in his mouth and ears- he was miserable! One of the best pieces of advice I had was NOT to use the calomine lotion. - it doe not aid in the drying process. Use an oatmeal bath to sooth the itch (as often as needed)- then take them out- pat them dry. Lay them down on a towel and sprinke heavily with gold bond powder. It dried them RIGHT up and really help sooth the itch! I will say a prayer and if you need ANYTHING... you know my #!
