Disney Day 5- December 26

Jordy began the day by watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while we got ready for our Animal Kingdom adventure...
I took Lily's picture with her three scroll gifts so she could get ready for her scavenger hunt through the parks to find her special gifts...

My two little monsters got ready to go...

Once we got to Animal Kingdom...our first stop was lunch at Yak and Yeti's.  This is one of our favorite places to eat.

Lily made up a story while we were waiting...Disney has the best things for kids to do while waiting on their food!

We had a delicious dessert of Fried Wontons...oh my word!  So yummy!
Lily got her a little sundae which she only wanted for the cherry on top!  Love her!
After lunch, we went to have our pictures made with Safari Mickey and Minnie which were dressed up in Christmas clothes ...we were a little sad about that, but we quickly moved on.

Then, we headed down the path to take some more pictures for my book and for our house...

Lily has on one of her stocking presents.  We found a locket for her on Etsy that is just beautiful.  She has wanted one for a long time, so she was especially happy about this Christmas surprise.  Plus it has pictures of the three of us on one side and then her with Jordy on the other.  She LOVED that.
I just took picture of her periodically wherever she wanted to stop and look...

After the picture taking session, we went on Kilamanjaro Safari.  Both of them enjoyed this.  The animals were out and about more so than we have seen before.  So, it was nice for them to be right beside us.

They have actually changed the ride a bit from the previous time we were on it, so it was nice for it to just be all about the animals.

Next, we went to Rafiki's Planet Watch which was a fun little train ride.  That was full of all kinds of interesting facts for Lily to absorb.  She enjoys learning so much - so that is another reason why we love Disney.  There are so many educational opportunities everywhere.
Finally, it was time for the big Fast Pass that these two had been waiting on.  Last year, they were supposed to ride Expedition Everest but it was broken.  So, they had to wait until our next trip...
They couldn't wait to ride... and it was a "Big Deal Coaster" I was told by my daughter when they got off.  It was a little scary for her.  But, they liked it.
Throughout the day, she had been pondering what her Frankincense gift was going to be from Animal Kingdom.  She had to find something that was in Africa since her scroll said that it had been mined there for  thousands of years.  She finally decided that she wanted this cute pink purse that she found at one of the outdoor carts.  So, Scroll gift number one had been purchased.  And now we refer to that purse as her Frankincense gift.  We stopped along the way for a few more pictures...

After we left Animal Kingdom, we went back to the room for awhile.  Then, we went back to Epcot for dinner at Sunshine Seasons.  We rode Nemo and Figment because the lines are always short.  I have no idea why- because we love these rides.  I guess people just tend to flock to Soarin and Test Track in this park.  Of course, we did those rides the first day we were there, too!  :0)

Disney Day 4- CHRISTmas!

We woke up to celebrate Jesus's birthday by reading Luke 2 together and opening up our stockings which contain three gifts... plus Lily's has three scrolls.

We enjoy spending Christmas Day at Hollywood Studios.  Usually Magic Kingdom is a complete nightmare, especially on Christmas Day.  But, we have always loved spending the day at Hollywood Studios because of the Christmas lights.  So, we headed over to see the lights during the daytime so Lily could look at how they are strung on the buildings - which is so cool.
Then, we headed over to find a star so that I could take a picture of Lily pointing at it for my book...

After that, we headed into the Villians Bakery to have Lily's favorite treat- white chocolate covered strawberries.  I believe that Jordy will like them too!
Next, we had a Fast Pass for the Frozen Sing-Along which was completely wonderful!  Can I tell you something crazy....it was AWESOME!  Not only did we thoroughly enjoy ourselves...
But so did our little man!  We regretted not getting a Fast Pass for Beauty and the Beast which we also love seeing at Hollywood Studios.  I think he would have loved it, too!
This was a picture I took while Lily was singing away... Jamie was singing too.  But, Lily had held the note out really long!
Jordy was totally enthralled with the whole thing...
We went to Toy Story Mania for our next Fast Pass of the day.  We were in and out of there in less than ten minutes.  Love that ride!

We ended that day with a Turkey Leg to share... YUMMO!  Then, unfortunately, we called it a day.  We were tired, and we decided to go back to the Boardwalk and just hang out as a family!  It was a fantastic decision.  We watched the fireworks from our balcony and made a note to go back to Hollywood Studios on another evening to see the lights.  Looking back, I am glad we saved it because it was completely wonderful later in the week.

Disney Day 3- December 24

We spent our third day at Epcot... which is our favorite park, by the way.  Lily began the day on the balcony writing in her journal.  She wrote to him every day telling him every detail of what happened.
This was Christmas Eve so she got to open up Nana and Poppa's Christmas Eve present which she loved.
At Epcot, we got to ride my favorite Epcot ride-  Soarin!  We had so much fun!
Jordy took his morning nap during our fast passes...
Then, we headed over to England for a photo shoot because I need some new pictures up in our house...so we had lots of fun sitting around the England area and hanging out together.

One of my personal favorites....I love that sweet sisterly look!

This is Lily's favorite- She loves it when he lays on her!

Disney Day 2- December 23rd

We started out the day by putting some bling on our Magicbands.
We were headed to Magic Kingdom for the day.  So we had a family photo taken at the bus stop.

Lily and I were hanging out waiting for lunch while Baba was changing Jordy's diaper.

We got to eat at the Plaza Restaurant.  It is our favorite place at Magic Kingdom.  But, there are many great places to eat here.  We also like Casey's Corner and Crystal Palace.
Lily got the Mickey Sundae which she enjoyed.

We took a break before riding the Haunted Mansion ride.  Jordy slept through the whole ride.

We also stopped in FantasyLand to have some of Lefou's Brew at Gaston's Tavern.  Just watching Gaston get his picture made with the girls was a show in and of itself.
We were waiting for a second to ride Winnie the Pooh, and I caught Lily yawning!

On the Pooh ride... so thankful for Fast Passes.

We took Lily to Main Street to search for the old-timey phone so she could listen in on a Disney secret.  They did a great job of maintaining its secrecy.  So, she got to listen in on a conversation.  It is neat to hear what that sounded like back then.  She really enjoyed it.

We stopped by the bakery to pick up a treat...
And then had to have a funnel cake to share while watching the fireworks from our room.

He loved the fireworks!  He enjoyed watching and seeing everything!

Our First Day of Disney

Jordy had no idea what was in store for him when we were packing to leave for WDW.
But, Lily knew... and she couldn't wait to get there.  She kept herself busy in the car watching her iPad, playing games, reading, writing, talking, and singing all the way there.

Our view of the Boardwalk and Spaceship Earth in Epcot.  We were so excited to realize that we would have a perfect view of the fireworks every night from our balcony.

He also loved the characters.  He was most interested in Minnie.  You can't tell from these pictures, other than the fact that he is holding her hand.  But, he was all smiles when he met her.

His first ride was Nemo.  We made sure that his ride was the same as Lily's first ride.  He loved it!
