So, I am home today with acute bronchitis. Nice, huh? Well, I am just praying that Lily and Jamie won't get it, too. I had to just re-live our last year's moments one more day! The following pictures are our Gotcha Day memories... (they are posted backwards- sorry!)
This is about an hour after we got Lily back to the hotel room and changed her clothes. I know they tell you not to, but we couldn't help ourselves. She did fine, by the way. She was much happier in these clothes, too.
The next picture is right after we changed her clothes. She stopped crying completely and began to bond with me.

We watched as they carried around this beautiful baby that was crying and screaming...
We were told that our babies from Wanzai were in the corner- all three of them. But, they were there first. We had to wait until the others came. More waiting....

I never saw some of these pictures. It's amazing how much Lily has changed!
I just cannot believe we are just days away from a year! Do you have any special plans? Remember those St. Patrick's Day shirts? I know we will sport them again on the 17th! :)
Oh wow this made me cry.. When I saw the Wanzai director and the pictures of the man from the Wanzai orphanage and Lily being carried around by them it brought back memories for me of Sophia's Gotcha day. Thank you so much for sharing all the wonderful details of you day. I can't wait to share ours when our anniversary day is approaching..
What memories those pictures bring back. I even see Jocelyn being held and crying on that day. I have to admit that once we had Jocelyn in the room we changed her clothes as well. Like Lily she did fine with this.
One more week and we will have been mommies for one year. What a year it has been.
