It tastes like ice...

We have had so much fun this weekend with our snow!

Lily loves SNOW!

Lily has had the best time today playing in the snow. This is the most snow we've seen since the big snow in 1993.

She just really loves the snow! She doesn't care how cold she is at all.

She especially loves throwing snowballs at Baba and Mama!

All three of us enjoyed our time outside today, and we are hoping for a lot more snow!

We tried to make a snowman...

but the snow just won't pack quite that much.

Throwing snowballs is just as much fun though!

We are going to have a hard time getting her back in the house... but we can't blame her. Who knows when we will see this again!

A Star in the Making

Lily has a few favorites- Hannah Montana is her absolute favorite, then Taylor Swift who she discovered while watching the Hannah Montana Movie, then TobyMac, and Switchfoot. However, she loves dancing and pretending to sing to Taylor and Hannah. Her musical tastes are very diverse like her Mama and Baba's. She also loves broadway music, too.

Princess and the Frog

I haven't blogged in awhile because we have been so sick at our house. Lily and I had that horrible virus that has been going around, and I ended up having to go to the emergency room. But, now, we are all well! We took Lily to see her first movie- The Princess and the Frog. She loved it, and she was amazing! We were so happy that she was so wonderful. Since we have returned from our movie adventure, she takes all of her stuffed animals and dolls to the movies. The picture above shows them all sitting on the couch together "eating nachos" and "watching Princess and the Sog" - she is having a little trouble with her F's.

Next week, I am going to post a couple of videos of Lily performing to one of her favorite singers, Taylor Swift. They are pretty funny.

Laughing while we are sick...

Lily says the funniest things! When Baba left to go to the doctor today, Lily followed him to the door saying, “I love you, Baba. Be careful. Be careful. I love you, Baba. I see you later. Be careful.”

Tonight, Lily asked Baba what he was doing in his closet, and he replied, “What does it look like?” She then said, “What does it look like to you, Baba?”

At bath time, Lily was told repeatedly to push the button to get out. Finally, Baba said, “Okay, Lily, I am going to count to 3.” Lily responded, “Okay, I understand, Baba” while pushing the button very seriously.

Note: We are all sick- at home- taking care of each other. Jamie had to return to the doctor today. Thank Heavens that his RSV has not turned into Pneumonia, but he does have a really bad infection that is making him feel awful. Hopefully, another day of rest at home will make a huge difference!
