Working Lily

"Guess what, Lily...I brought something for you to do in the car today," Mama announced.

"What is it? What is it?" Lily asked with excitement.

"Some schoolwork!" Mama exclaimed.

"Really!  Yay!  Oh, Mama, I love you!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!" Lily said with a huge grin on her face.

Mama then thought, Dear God- Thank YOU so much for this amazing, wonderful child- as Lily began working on her 2-digit Second grade addition papers.  Then begged to play Hangman and WordJuice all the way to the concert!

Always Busy

It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, you can normally catch Lily creating something.  It could be artsy, a new game she has just made up herself, a new exercise, a story, or a thousand questions!  She has also recently become a "fashionista".  She loves to create new looks with her clothes...that make her look really grown up!

Suzette and Lily

Everytime she comes over, Suzette has some new game to play with Lily!  It is like she dreams them up in her sleep.  But, everything is always active, new, and super fun.  She is the best Aunt ever! Of course, she is also the best sister ever, too!  We love you Suzette!

Happy Referral-versary!

Thank you God for creating this beautiful gift for us....that You made specifically for us almost 6 years ago!  Five years ago, today, we waited....and waited....and waited on the FedEx guy to bring us a special package so that we could see our daughter's face for the first time.  Since that day, our lives have been ever so blessed!!!!!

Another wedding....

It seems that we are hosting many weddings at our house these days...Mickey & Minnie, Barbie & Ken, Belle & Adam (the Beast), and....now, Simba & Nala.  Doesn't she look lovely in her veil and her quilted wedding dress. 

Can you tell how warm our house is?  It is snowing outside, and Lily has on summer nightclothes. Gotta love her independence...

Pillow House
