Lily had a fantastic time at Cheer Clinic. She loves to dance and sing...and cheer. Here she is with her friends Kenzie and Aubrey. They are showing their school spirit.
She was so excited to have this pom pom as a gift. She also got her new loft bed yesterday which she picked out herself (pictures will come later when the camera returns from China). I was asking her to tell Trina and Ruella what she had gotten yesterday that was super special...and she said her Calhoun Pom Pom! Isn't it funny what stands out in a child's mind.

Busy Life
I found this picture that I forgot to post in June! Lily made us an anniversary card.
I think it was storming outside that day since there was a little lightning in our picture with some storm clouds above our heads.
It has been awhile since I have posted. Life has been crazy, wonderful, and wild. We are just so busy all of the time these days, but I will try to do better...soon. Jamie is getting ready to leave for China on a Mission Trip. So, we will be by ourselves for awhile. We are not really looking forward to that, but so thankful that God is using Jamie for something awesome. School is crazy as ever, and we are having the best time learning. Lily is the best first grader in the world, and she has already read over 4,000 words in 23 books during the first couple of weeks. She is an excellent little reader, and she enjoys reading all kinds of books. She has just discovered non-fiction books, so they are a new treasure to her. The next few weeks will be full of activities for her, so I should be posting some pictures. Please pray for Jamie as he travels across the world and pray for us as we make it without him...which is so difficult on both of us. No excuses...life without Jamie is just hard on us. We love Baba!

Studying God's Word
Jamie and I have been reading the Bible for 286 days through YouVersion on our phones. We are going through a Chronological Study of the Bible in 365 days. Throughout our study, I have been making notes and bookmarks. As you probably know, when you study the Bible- you learn so much that you want to share it with everyone you know. We especially love to share our studies with Lily. Then, I realized that I could just make a blog just for Lily that I can turn into a BlogBook once I am finished with this study. So, last month, I started taking all of my notes and bookmarks from our study and from sermons at church from our pastor---and I have made a new blog just for Lily. Once we are finished with this specific study, I am going to publish my Blog Book so that Lily will have it to read and keep. I pray that this will encourage her and help to guide her throughout her life. Her walk with God is the most important part of her life.

Epcot
So, we spent our last day in Epcot. We ate pizza in Italy, crepes in France, Caramel in Germany, Mickey Mouse Ice Cream, and Guacomole, chips, & churros in Mexico. Yummo! We seriously cannot wait to go back...only 179 more days! The countdown begins again...

Waiting in Line
Maelstrom
Lily also got to ride on the Maelstrom boat ride in Norway where she saw Vikings and trolls! She really enjoyed this ride, and it was another one we got to go on again and again.
Star Tours
Lily rode a new ride this time that she just loved. She asked to ride it again and again. The first time, it scared her a little bit because of the motion. But, she asked to try again, and then she was hooked. Of course, it really helped since the next ride had Darth Vader in it. She got a big kick out of him trying to control the "spaceship" we were in. I also think she loved wearing those 3-D glasses which are on her head!
